We have been slowly decorating our front room and by slowly I mean snail speed. Long term we would like this room to be a play room but since we do not have kids yet I am waiting to see what the best set up will be. We have been wanting to do another wall unit in this room for storage but I want to wait to see exactly how I want the design to be for this room once we have little ones. Especially since we already did a wall unit once I don’t want to just duplicate it again. So for now I added a temporary fix to an empty wall.
Justin and I love music. If you are in our house and the TV is not on music is. We love a variety of genres and why not turn one of my favorite songs into décor. The quote “Just for a moment, let’s be still” if from a band called The Head and The Heart, they are a modern folk band that can do no wrong in my book. Modern Folk (or the acoustic version of anything) has always been a favorite of mine, I mean the music at our wedding ceremony was all modern song played with an acoustic guitar.
To me the quote fits perfectly in our life because we are always on the go and we all need to remember to stop, pause and really enjoy life. If you have not listen to any of The Head and The Hearts songs (and you like modern folk music) I suggest you stop reading this blog, go you Youtube, type in The Head and The Heart and well your welcome!
All it took was Photoshop, a print shop and two 20X30 frames. All in all they cost me less than $25 total. Not to bad in my opinion. My only complaint is the frames are very reflective, I could get higher quality frames but for now they are perfect!
